๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT), in partnership with Yottabyte and the APNIC Foundation, successfully conducted the Cyber Bootcamp Spring 2025 at the Information Technology & Skills Institute (ITSI), Sultana Foundation, from April 24โ27. This collaboration aimed to deliver a hands-on, skill-intensive training experience to cybersecurity professionals, students, and practitioners, enhancing national capacity in cyber defense and digital resilience.
The bootcamp covered a comprehensive array of topics critical to today's digital defense landscape, including Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), the Attack Lifecycle, Exploitation Techniques, Threat Hunting, Ethical Hacking, and Real-World Attack Simulations. Participants engaged in interactive labs and advanced defensibility strategies, gaining exposure to real-world scenarios designed to test and strengthen their cyber resilience. The program emphasized practical learning and skill-building, aligning with national cybersecurity goals and global best practices.
A notable highlight of the event was an address by Mr. Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Trainings at National CERT, who formally introduced the National CERT to the audience. He outlined its role, mandate, and future initiatives aimed at bolstering Pakistanโs cyber defense infrastructure. The event marked a significant step forward in building a secure digital future, fostering public-private collaboration, and empowering the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
