Tailored specifically for professionals from Sectoral CERTs and regulatory bodies, the training served as a vital initiative to bolster institutional cyber resilience across Pakistan.

Designed as a practical and immersive experience, the training guided participants through the essential components of planning, setting up, and operating a fully functional Security Operations Center (SOC), emphasizing scalable architectures, real-time monitoring, incident response protocols, integration with AI-enabled threat intelligence tools, as well as the alignment and integration of Sectoral SOCs within the three-tier CERT architectural framework as outlined in the CERT Rules. The interactive training session fostered cross-sector dialogue and knowledge sharing on real-world scenarios, challenges and solutions in developing a resilient Security Operations Center.

Attendees included representatives from leading public and private sector entities such as the State Bank of Pakistan, MoD, OGRA, NEPRA, OGDCL, CAA, SNGPL, PTA, K-Electric, FIA, PEMRA, MoIB, National Assembly, Ministry of Commerce, MoFEP&T, ASF, MoIP, Supreme Court of Pakistan, PESCO, PAEC, BU, FAB, PSX, NADRA, CDC, NCCPL, PNRA, NHCD, HIT, PMD, NRTC, Home Department KPโ€”reflecting the national scope and strategic relevance of the training.

This initiative underscores National CERTโ€™s mission to advance cybersecurity infrastructure across sectors by building technical capacity, fostering collaboration, and promoting sustainable security practices nationwide.
