๐ฅ๐ฎ๐๐ฎ๐น๐ฝ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) conducted a comprehensive training on "๐๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ด๐ต๐ข๐ฃ๐ญ๐ช๐ด๐ฉ ๐ข ๐๐ฆ๐ค๐ถ๐ณ๐ช๐ต๐บ ๐๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ข๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด ๐๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ (๐๐๐)" at the 5th International Conference on Communication Technologies (ComTech-2025), focusing on the strategic and technical aspects of establishing and managing a SOC. Tailored specifically for professionals from Sectoral CERTs and regulatory bodies, the training served as a vital initiative to bolster institutional cyber resilience across Pakistan.
Designed as a practical and immersive experience, the training guided participants through the essential components of planning, setting up, and operating a fully functional Security Operations Center (SOC), emphasizing scalable architectures, real-time monitoring, incident response protocols, integration with AI-enabled threat intelligence tools, as well as the alignment and integration of Sectoral SOCs within the three-tier CERT architectural framework as outlined in the CERT Rules. The interactive training session fostered cross-sector dialogue and knowledge sharing on real-world scenarios, challenges and solutions in developing a resilient Security Operations Center.
