𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗜𝗧 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗣@𝗦𝗛𝗔) 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗖𝗜𝗘) 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 — National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA), formally inducting P@SHA as a key partner in the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) initiative. The MoU aims to accelerate cybersecurity advancement through industry collaboration, research, and innovation.

The MoU signing ceremony was presided over by Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General, National CERT, who was joined by Mr. Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Training, and other senior officials from the National CERT.

Representing P@SHA were Mr. Sajjad Mustafa Syed, Chairman, Syed Ali Abbas Hasani, Secretary General, and Mr. Muhammad Munaf Majeed, Member Central Executive Committee & Chair Cyber Security Committee, along with other esteemed members of the association. This partnership underscores a united commitment to fortify Pakistan’s cyber defenses by leveraging public-private collaboration. Through this alliance, P@SHA and National CERT will work jointly to strengthen indigenous cybersecurity capabilities, promote knowledge exchange, and foster a resilient and innovative digital infrastructure.

The Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) serves as a national platform connecting government bodies, SECP-registered private sector organizations, academia, and research institutions to build a strong cybersecurity culture, promote skill development, and support the creation of homegrown cybersecurity solutions.
