𝗗𝗚 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 (𝗦𝗧𝗜), 𝗘𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – Director General National CERT, Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, was invited by the Secretariat Training Institute (STI), Establishment Division, to deliver a session on "The Evolving Cyber Threat Landscape and Protection of Digital Assets." The session was organized as part of the Domain-Specific Training for the Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC), targeting senior officers from various government departments.

During the session, Dr. Haider Abbas provided deep insights into the rapidly changing global and national cybersecurity environment. He emphasized the growing sophistication of cyber threats and the pressing need for a proactive, resilient, and coordinated national approach to digital asset protection. The lecture underscored the importance of strategic capacity building within the public sector to defend critical information infrastructures.

The session was well-received by participating officers, sparking in-depth discussions on policy-level cybersecurity challenges and the strategic imperatives for building a resilient digital governance framework. National CERT remains committed to strengthening the cyber posture of Pakistan through continued awareness, collaboration, and capacity-building efforts across public institutions.
