𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗞𝗮𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗸𝘆 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺

The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with global cybersecurity leader Kaspersky, marking a significant milestone in advancing Pakistan’s national cybersecurity posture. This strategic collaboration underscores a shared commitment to protecting the country’s digital assets, critical infrastructure, and sensitive information from evolving cyber threats.

Under the MoU, National CERT and Kaspersky will work closely to enhance cyber resilience through cooperation in threat detection, prevention, mitigation, and incident response. The partnership places strong emphasis on capacity building, including comprehensive training and awareness programs aimed at strengthening operational readiness across government institutions, industry, academia, and civil society.

The collaboration also focuses on developing a skilled cybersecurity workforce aligned with national and international standards, alongside research and development initiatives and professional exchanges. A key component of the partnership is the timely sharing of actionable cyber threat intelligence and technical information to support informed decision-making and rapid response to cyber incidents across Pakistan.

This alliance reflects National CERT’s ongoing efforts to foster strong public–private partnerships and leverage global expertise to secure Pakistan’s digital future. By working together, National CERT and Kaspersky aim to support safe digital transformation and reinforce trust in the country’s information and communication technologies ecosystem.
