๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan successfully conducted a comprehensive capacity building training session titled โPakistan: Information Integrity & Defending Hostile Information Threatsโ at its headquarters. The session brought together nominated officials from 20 federal ministries and their attached departments, reflecting a whole-of-government approach toward strengthening national resilience against information threats.
The session was delivered by Mr. Habibullah Khan, a leading strategic communication expert. Renowned for his expertise in state-weaponized social media spaces, Mr. Khan advocates effective management of state narratives and supports government leaders in strategic narrative framing to counter hostile information operations.
The training was designed to enhance participantsโ understanding of the evolving information environment, with a particular focus on hostile information campaigns, disinformation, and narrative manipulation in the digital domain. Through interactive discussions, practical insights, and scenario-based engagement, participants explored contemporary challenges related to information integrity, narrative warfare, and the strategic use of digital platforms. The session fostered active participation, critical thinking, and a shared understanding of the importance of proactive information defense.
