๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan conducted a comprehensive cybersecurity awareness training for senior management and officials of the National Telecommunication Corporation (NTC) at the NTC Headquarters. Aligned with the National CERTโs Training Guidelines, the training was tailored specifically for senior leadership, decision-makers, and key technical and administrative officials of NTC.
Delivered by Mr. Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Trainings, the training comprised two dedicated and highly interactive sessions titled โSecure Adoption of Technology & Cyber Hygieneโ and โResponsible AI Adoption and Robust Cybersecurity Practices.โ The training emphasized strategic cybersecurity governance, risk-informed decision-making, and the role of leadership in fostering a culture of cyber awareness. Participants were briefed on best practices for cyber hygiene, threat awareness, policy compliance, data protection, and the integration of cybersecurity considerations into organizational planning and operations.
The sessions featured interactive discussions, real-world case studies, and scenario-based insights, enabling participants to better understand emerging cyber threats and the practical measures required to mitigate organizational and national-level cyber risks. Active engagement from NTC leadership and employees underscored the importance of proactive cybersecurity readiness in todayโs evolving digital landscape.
