๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan successfully concluded the first day of its intensive 2-day Comprehensive Cybersecurity Training at the Secretariat Training Institute (STI), Establishment Division. Day 1 featured two insightful sessions led by distinguished experts in the field. The first session, conducted by Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Trainings, focused on โResponsible AI Adoption and Robust Cybersecurity Practices.โ Participants explored the critical intersection of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, gaining practical insights on adopting AI technologies responsibly while safeguarding sensitive information and mitigating potential risks in public sector operations.
The second session was delivered by Dr. Mehreen Afzal, Director GRC, on the topic โFrom Policy to Practice: Integrating Cyber Governance into Government Functions.โ The session emphasized translating cybersecurity policies into actionable strategies, highlighting best practices for embedding robust governance frameworks within government functions. Participants engaged in discussions on policy implementation, risk management, and compliance, fostering a deeper understanding of the strategic role of cyber governance in public administration.
