𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟯 (𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆) 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 “𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴” 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻

𝙍𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙡𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙞, 𝙋𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣 – The National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT) successfully concluded the final day of their intensive “Cybersecurity Compliance and Auditing Training” on June 26th, 2024, at the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan.
The session, led by the esteemed Director General of National CERT- Pakistan, Dr. Haider Abbas (TI), focused on the various Cybersecurity Auditing and Evaluation aspects. This final day underscored NCERT’s unwavering commitment to enhancing the cybersecurity readiness of government organizations throughout Pakistan.

Dr. Haider Abbas opened the session with insightful discussions on critical aspects of cybersecurity auditing, including:

Participants from government organizations and NUST students gained valuable knowledge through practical case scenarios. The training equipped them with the expertise to implement robust auditing processes and improve their cybersecurity defenses. The students have been tasked to help government organizations to implement robust compliance and auditing processes to improve their cybersecurity posture. Dr. Haider Abbas concluded the session by reaffirming NCERT’s dedication to fostering a secure digital environment for all government entities in Pakistan, emphasizing that continuous education and adherence to best practices are crucial for maintaining resilience against cyber threats.
This comprehensive training series marks a significant milestone in NCERT’s mission to fortify Pakistan’s cybersecurity framework, paving the way for a more secure and compliant digital infrastructure in the country.
