𝘽𝙚𝙞𝙟𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙖 - Dr. Haider Abbas delivered a thought-provoking speech on the topic, "The AI Paradox: Enhancing Cybersecurity or Intensifying Threats?" wherein he expertly traced the evolution of AI in cybersecurity, highlighting both its benefits and the challenges it poses in terms of novel cyber-attack mechanisms, adversarial AI, weaponization of AI, and the challenges of deep fakes, fake news, and distortion of realities.

Also, as a panelist, Dr. Abbas shared valuable insights on the ways forward at the national level for the safe and responsible use of AI in various domains, including cybersecurity, healthcare, finance, and critical infrastructure protection. He emphasized the need for a comprehensive national AI strategy that addresses AI's ethical, legal, and regulatory implications and ensures its benefits are equitably distributed among all stakeholders.

China's largest cybersecurity event was attended by cybersecurity experts from industry, academia, and government officials from around the world. Dr. Abbas discussed various mechanisms for collaboration between National CERT Pakistan and their respective organizations, exploring opportunities for mutual cooperation in addressing cybersecurity threats and enhancing global cyber resilience.
