Skandic Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has officially become the Technology Innovation Partner of the National Cyber Emergency Response Team of Pakistan (National CERT) under the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) initiative. The partnership was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the National CERT headquarters.

The MoU was signed by Ms. Adeela Waqar, Director Labs, National CERT, and Mr. Farooq Khan, CEO Skandic Technologies Pvt. Ltd., in the presence of the Director General National CERT, Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, along with officials and representatives from both organizations.

This strategic collaboration underscores a shared commitment to strengthening Pakistan’s cybersecurity posture through innovation, research, and capacity building. As Technology Innovation Partner, Skandic Technologies will work closely with National CERT in key areas, including the development of cybersecurity laboratories with leading industry partners, development of structured mechanisms for cyber threat intelligence sharing in line with national security policies, joint advancement of tools for proactive threat detection and cybersecurity analytics, support for nationwide awareness initiatives, structured knowledge exchange, and technical collaboration at national and international levels.

The Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) serves as a forward-looking platform that brings together government institutions, SECP-registered private entities, academia, and technology innovators to collectively enhance national cyber resilience. Through this initiative, National CERT continues to strengthen Pakistan’s digital defenses while nurturing a culture of cybersecurity awareness and technological excellence.
