𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝘆

The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan conducted a comprehensive cybersecurity capacity building training at the Information Services Academy (ISA) under its Cybersecurity Capacity Building Program, in line with National CERT Training Guidelines, to strengthen operational and strategic cyber threat management across government organizations.

Senior officials from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Pakistan and its attached departments including the Press Information Department (PID Pakistan), Associated Press of Pakistan (APP), the Information Services Academy (ISA) and other affiliated organizations actively participated in the program. The training was meticulously curated to deliver practical insights into threat identification, risk assessment and mitigation strategies, addressing both human centric and technology driven cyber threats while emphasizing proactive defense and resilience planning.

Delivered by Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, National CERT, the training adopted an interactive, scenario-based approach that integrated in-depth discussions, real world challenges and practical insights to translate learning into actionable strategies. Marked by active and insightful participant engagement, the session addressed emerging cyber threats, cybersecurity best practices and effective approaches to protecting individuals and organizations from online risks and digital exploitation. These training programs reaffirm National CERT’s commitment to empowering government institutions through sustained capacity building initiatives that strengthen national cyber resilience and safeguard public digital services.
