𝗗𝗚 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 (𝗦𝗧𝗜)

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – As part of its national capacity building mission, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan conducted a specialized cybersecurity session for civil servants participating in domain-specific training at the Secretariat Training Institute (STI).

The session was delivered by Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General, National CERT, who shared insights on the evolving cyber threat landscape, cyber resilience, the protection of government digital assets, and the critical role of civil servants in strengthening Pakistan’s national cybersecurity posture.

The interactive session highlighted that cybersecurity is not solely a technical challenge; it is a governance imperative. Protecting government digital assets requires informed leadership, domain-specific expertise, practical awareness, and a security-first culture across all levels of the public sector.

Through sustained capacity building and institutional collaboration, National CERT Pakistan remains committed to enhancing cyber resilience and supporting a secure, trusted, and digitally empowered Pakistan.
