𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 & 𝗖𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗢 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗮 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan and the Centre for National Cohesion (CENCO), Lok Virsa - National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, have entered into a strategic partnership to promote national cohesion, inclusive citizenship, and a secure, resilient digital ecosystem. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General National CERT, and Mr Muhammad Waqas Saleem, Executive Director, National Institute of Folk & Traditional Heritage.

Under the MoU, National CERT and CENCO will jointly implement awareness campaigns, research, dialogues, workshops, and educational programs to strengthen social resilience, promote responsible digital citizenship, and address online social fragmentation, with a focus on peacebuilding, preventing online radicalisation and extremism, countering intolerance, and encouraging constructive digital engagement among youth, scholars, artists, and civil society.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to building a digitally secure, socially resilient, and culturally cohesive Pakistan capable of addressing contemporary challenges through innovation, dialogue, and collective action.
