๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan successfully conducted a specialized training session on โCyber Defence through Human-Centered Risk Managementโ for officials of the Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment (BE&OE), Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development (MOPHRD), at the BE&OE Headquarters.
The training was designed in accordance with the National CERTโs Training Guidelines and aimed to strengthen cyber resilience by underscoring the critical role of human behavior, cybersecurity awareness, and proactive risk management in mitigating evolving cyber threats. The session, delivered by Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, was attended by officials representing all directorates of BE&OE, who gained practical insights into identifying cyber risks, fostering a security-conscious organizational culture, and adopting best practices to safeguard information assets. Participants remained actively engaged throughout the session, demonstrating keen interest and contributing to meaningful discussions with the trainer on contemporary cybersecurity challenges.
Through such capacity-building initiatives, National CERT continues to advance cybersecurity awareness and preparedness across public sector organizations, empowering individuals to serve as the first line of defence against cyber threats and contributing to a more secure and resilient national cyber ecosystem.
