𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻-𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan successfully conducted a specialized training session on “Cyber Defence through Human-Centered Risk Management” for officials of the Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment (BE&OE), Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis & Human Resource Development (MOPHRD), at the BE&OE Headquarters.

The training was designed in accordance with the National CERT’s Training Guidelines and aimed to strengthen cyber resilience by underscoring the critical role of human behavior, cybersecurity awareness, and proactive risk management in mitigating evolving cyber threats. The session, delivered by Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, was attended by officials representing all directorates of BE&OE, who gained practical insights into identifying cyber risks, fostering a security-conscious organizational culture, and adopting best practices to safeguard information assets. Participants remained actively engaged throughout the session, demonstrating keen interest and contributing to meaningful discussions with the trainer on contemporary cybersecurity challenges.

Through such capacity-building initiatives, National CERT continues to advance cybersecurity awareness and preparedness across public sector organizations, empowering individuals to serve as the first line of defence against cyber threats and contributing to a more secure and resilient national cyber ecosystem.
