𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan, in collaboration with its international technology partner, MA3 Cyber, conducted an interactive training session for participants of its Summer Internship Program 2026, providing them with practical insights into securing modern applications.

The session was delivered by Mr. Anwar Hassan, Managing Director, MA3 Cyber, and supported by Mr. Abdul Hakim Ansari from Checkmarx. The session focused on key dimensions of Application Security. The interns explored the evolving application security landscape, common application vulnerabilities, secure coding and development practices, vulnerability detection and remediation, and the importance of building a security-first mindset for modern applications.

The session enabled interns to deepen their understanding of how security can be integrated throughout the application development lifecycle, while gaining valuable perspectives from an experienced industry practitioner.

The engagement reflects National CERT’s commitment to connecting emerging cybersecurity talent with industry expertise and equipping young professionals with the knowledge and skills required to contribute to a secure and resilient digital ecosystem.
