The program brings together senior executives and decision-makers from government ministries, sector regulators, academia, and public and private-sector organizations to address evolving cyber risk challenges.

The session was delivered by Commodore Dr Nazir Ahmed Malik, SI (M), Cyber Security Advisor and National CERT's Distinguished Trainer. Drawing upon extensive expertise and leadership experience, he provided valuable insights into executive responsibilities for technology oversight, cyber risk management, and the governance mechanisms required to safeguard critical digital assets in an increasingly complex threat environment.

Key discussions focused on critical infrastructure and Operational Technology (OT) security, the implementation of Zero Trust principles and layered defense strategies, as well as emerging risks associated with cloud computing, Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystems, and mobile technologies. Participants also examined the cybersecurity implications of artificial intelligence, data manipulation, and supply chain vulnerabilities, emphasizing the need for proactive governance and informed decision-making at the leadership level.

Through engaging discussions and practical perspectives, participants explored strategies for enhancing organizational resilience, strengthening technology governance, and fostering a culture of cybersecurity accountability. National CERT remains committed to building a resilient, secure, and trusted digital ecosystem through executive engagement, capacity building, and sustained collaboration across all sectors.
