𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗜𝘁𝘀 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝘀

The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan successfully conducted a specialized cybersecurity capacity building training on “Effective Incident Management & Response” for its officials at its Headquarters. The training was designed to strengthen institutional readiness and elevate the technical competencies of its personnel in responding to cyber threats effectively and efficiently.

Guided by a Whole of Organization (WoO) Approach, the training brought together SOC resource persons alongside professionals from IT, Data Center operations, and related technical domains. This cross-functional engagement enabled participants to build a cohesive, foundational understanding of cybersecurity incident management reinforcing National CERT's commitment to cultivating preparedness at every organisational level, not just within siloed technical teams.

The training was delivered by Mr. Mubashir Sargana, who is the National CERT's Distinguished Trainer as part of its Distinguished Trainer Program (DTP). The session focused on developing foundational knowledge of cybersecurity incident management, including incident identification, response mechanisms, coordination procedures, and effective recovery practices.

National CERT remains steadfast in its mission to build a resilient national cyber defence posture through continuous learning, inter-domain collaboration, and the development of a highly skilled cybersecurity workforce.
