𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 (𝗖𝗜𝗘) 𝗜𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲

National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan has formalized a strategic partnership with Risk Associates under the Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) initiative, welcoming the organization as a Technology Innovation Partner. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed marking another significant step toward strengthening Pakistan’s national cyber resilience framework.

The MoU was signed by Ms. Adeela Waqar, Director Labs, National CERT and Dr. Aftab Rizvi, CEO Risk Associates in the presence of officials and representatives from both organizations. The collaboration reflects a shared vision to advance cybersecurity capabilities through innovation, structured capacity building programs, and industry-driven technological solutions aligned with national priorities.

Risk Associates will work closely with National CERT in areas including cybersecurity research and innovation, technical collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the development of advanced mechanisms to address emerging cyber threats. The partnership also aims to strengthen capacity building, promote best practices, and foster a culture of proactive cyber defense across critical sectors.

The Cyber Innovation Ecosystem (CIE) serves as a collaborative platform bringing together government institutions, private sector organizations, academia, and technology innovators to collectively enhance Pakistan’s digital security landscape. Through such partnerships, National CERT continues to reinforce its commitment to building a secure, resilient, and innovation-driven cybersecurity ecosystem for the country.
