𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗣𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan successfully concluded the pioneering cohort of its Executive Cybersecurity Leadership Program with the sixth and final session held at its Headquarters, marking the completion of an intensive executive capacity-building journey designed to strengthen Pakistan's national cyber resilience through strategic leadership, institutional collaboration, and cross-sector engagement.

Delivered through six immersive full-day modules conducted fortnightly, the Executive Cybersecurity Leadership Program brought together senior executives and decision-makers from government ministries, sector regulators, academia, and public and private-sector organizations to strengthen executive preparedness for an increasingly complex cyber threat landscape while fostering a culture of resilience, governance, and collaborative action.

The final session was delivered by Dr. Mukaram Khan CISSP, CISA, DG Cyber Vigilance & Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), who led an engaging discussion on Leading Cybersecurity Transformation. The session explored the leadership mindset required to drive cybersecurity transformation; human-centric approaches to strengthening cyber awareness and organizational culture; integrating cybersecurity into procurement and digital transformation initiatives; fostering inter-agency collaboration; and establishing mechanisms for continuous organizational improvement.

As the capstone activity of the program, participants developed Cyber Resilience Roadmaps tailored to their respective organizations, translating the knowledge gained throughout the program into practical strategic plans aimed at strengthening institutional cybersecurity governance, resilience, and long-term preparedness.

The closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General, National CERT, who addressed the participants and congratulated them on successfully completing the pioneering cohort of the Executive Cybersecurity Leadership Program. In his remarks, he emphasized the indispensable role of executive leadership in embedding cybersecurity into organizational strategy, strengthening institutional resilience, and fostering sustained collaboration across sectors to safeguard Pakistan's digital future. Certificates of completion were subsequently distributed among the participants in recognition of their successful completion of the six-module executive leadership program.
