𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗶𝗿 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – The Vice Chancellor of Air University, Air Marshal (R) Abdul Moeed Khan, visited the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan, where he called on Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General, National CERT, to discuss matters of mutual interest aimed at strengthening Pakistan's national cybersecurity ecosystem. The Air University delegation included Dr. Ghalib Asad Ullah Shah, Director, National Centre for Cyber Security (NCCS), and Dr. Zunera Jalil, Dean, National Cyber Security Academy (NCSA).

The meeting provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange perspectives on enhancing collaboration in cybersecurity capacity building, research and innovation, cyber resilience, and strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Pakistan's cyber capabilities. Discussions underscored the importance of fostering meaningful partnerships between government institutions and academia to address emerging cyber challenges through knowledge sharing, innovation, and institutional excellence.

The engagement reaffirmed the shared commitment of National CERT and Air University to advancing a collaborative cybersecurity ecosystem that supports national resilience, develops future cyber talent, and contributes to a secure, trusted, and future-ready digital Pakistan. National CERT remains committed to working with leading academic and research institutions to strengthen the country's cyber preparedness and resilience.
