𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗦𝗖𝟮 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 — National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan has formalized a strategic collaboration with the ISC2 Islamabad Chapter through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking an important step toward strengthening Pakistan’s cybersecurity workforce, capacity development, and national cyber resilience. The MoU was signed by Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, National CERT, and Mr. Saad Moten, President, ISC2 Islamabad Chapter, in the presence of DG National CERT and officials representing both organizations.

ISC2 is the world’s leading nonprofit membership organization for cybersecurity professionals and is internationally recognized for establishing and advancing professional standards in cybersecurity, including the globally renowned CISSP certification.

Under the collaboration, National CERT and ISC2 Islamabad Chapter will work together to advance cybersecurity through joint capacity development, certifications, workshops, seminars, knowledge exchange, and workforce development initiatives. The partnership will also support cybersecurity awareness campaigns, particularly for government institutions, as well as technical dialogue on emerging threats, trends, and best practices.

Through this partnership, National CERT continues to foster a skilled, connected, and future-ready cybersecurity community, reinforcing Pakistan’s capacity to anticipate, withstand, and respond to an evolving cyber threat landscape.
