The training covered key areas including cybersecurity governance, policymaking, adoption of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, cyber risk and threat assessment, and secure digital transformation. Aligned with National CERT's Training Guidelines, the sessions equipped participants with essential knowledge, practical insights, and live demonstrations, reinforcing cybersecurity as a strategic national priority across the public sector.
The training was delivered by Mr. Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Training; Dr. Mehreen Afzal Afzal, Director GRC; Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building; and Mr. Syed Zain ul Hassan, Red Team Lead. Participants remained actively engaged throughout the programme, contributing to interactive discussions, scenario-based exercises, and practical demonstrations. The programme further enhanced participants' capacity to lead secure digital transformation initiatives, promote proactive cyber risk management, and make informed strategic decisions aligned with Pakistan's national cybersecurity priorities. By fostering a governance-driven approach to cybersecurity and responsible technology adoption, the training contributes to strengthening institutional resilience and building a more secure digital public sector.
National CERT remains committed to advancing national cyber resilience through sustained capacity building, awareness initiatives, and strategic collaborations.
