The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan actively participated in the Seminar on Creating Safer Digital Spaces hosted by National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST). The seminar brought together leading stakeholders including UNICEF Pakistan, Telenor Pakistan, National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), and Digital Rights Foundation to deliberate on strengthening digital safety frameworks and promoting responsible online practices across Pakistan.

During the event, Mr. Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Trainings, represented National CERT as a keynote speaker. In his address, he emphasized the critical importance of cybersecurity awareness, proactive threat mitigation, and inter-institutional collaboration to build resilient digital ecosystems. He highlighted National CERTโ€™s ongoing commitment to capacity building, incident response readiness, and fostering a culture of cyber responsibility among youth and professionals alike.

National CERT remains steadfast in its mission to enhance national cyber resilience through partnerships, awareness initiatives, and strategic engagement with academia, industry, and civil society. Collaborative platforms such as this seminar play a vital role in shaping safer, more secure, and inclusive digital spaces for all citizens.
