This session gathered key incumbents from the Ministry of Energy, Government of Pakistan (Petroleum Division), Ministry of Energy, Government of Pakistan (Power Division), Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan, and the Ministry of Climate Change and Environmental Coordination. The discussions focused on critical cybersecurity strategies, tailored frameworks, and best practices to safeguard government digital assets from emerging risks.
Dr. Mehreen Afzal, Director of GRC, led an insightful session on proactive risk management and interdepartmental collaboration. She shared key insights from the National CERTโs โCybersecurity Implementation Guidelinesโ, providing attendees with structured methodologies to identify vulnerabilities and implement preventive security measures.
Mr. Khurram Javed, Director of Capacity Building, conducted an engaging session on institutional preparedness and strategic cybersecurity planning. His interactive approach encouraged participants to adopt forward-thinking strategies to enhance cyber resilience within their respective ministries.
