๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ As part of its Cybersecurity Capacity Building Program, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan successfully conducted a specialized training on ๐๐บ๐ฃ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด๐ฆ๐ค๐ถ๐ณ๐ช๐ต๐บ ๐๐ด๐ด๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต๐ช๐ข๐ญ๐ด: ๐๐ธ๐ข๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ฆ๐ด๐ด, ๐๐ข๐ต๐ข ๐๐ณ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฆ๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ, ๐๐ณ๐ช๐ท๐ข๐ค๐บ, ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐ฆ๐ด๐ต ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ช๐ค๐ฆ๐ด for officers from the National Assembly Secretariat at the National CERT Headquarters, Islamabad.
The session led by Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, aimed to enhance participants' understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts, equip them with essential skills to safeguard sensitive information, and strengthen their ability to respond effectively to emerging cyber threats.
The session covered a wide range of critical topics, including cyber hygiene, phishing awareness, secure communication practices, data privacy & protection strategies, and compliance with cybersecurity regulations. Practical examples and real-world case studies were also discussed to provide participants with hands-on knowledge about mitigating risks in their daily work environments. The participants took keen interest in the session, actively engaging in discussions, asking insightful queries, and interacting with the trainer to gain a deeper understanding of cybersecurity challenges and solutions. Their enthusiasm and participation highlighted the growing awareness and importance of cybersecurity in public sector institutions.
