๐˜•๐˜ข๐˜ต๐˜ช๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ข๐˜ญ ๐˜Š๐˜Œ๐˜™๐˜› ๐˜๐˜ฆ๐˜ข๐˜ฅ๐˜ฒ๐˜ถ๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ต๐˜ฆ๐˜ณ๐˜ด, ๐˜๐˜ด๐˜ญ๐˜ข๐˜ฎ๐˜ข๐˜ฃ๐˜ข๐˜ฅ โ€“ Building on the momentum of its earlier sessions, the National CERT successfully conducted the third training session of the โ€œCyberSecureGov: Cyber Guidelines Initiative.โ€ This flagship program, as part of the National CERTโ€™s Cybersecurity Capacity Building efforts, is committed to equipping government institutions with critical knowledge and methodologies to defend against the ever-changing landscape of cyber threats.

This session welcomed representatives from the Ministry of Law and Justice, Ministry of Industries & Production, Ministry Of IT & Telecom (MoITT), NADRA, Federal Investigation Agency - FIA, and the National Forensic Agency (NFA) under the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan. Discussions centered around fortifying institutional cybersecurity, with a strong focus on Risk Identification and Mitigation Strategies to enhance preparedness and strengthen cyber defenses.

The session featured an engaging deliverance by Dr. Mehreen Afzal, Director GRC, who underscored the necessity of adopting a cohesive approach to cybersecurity governance. She shared insights from the National CERTโ€™s "Cybersecurity Implementation Guidelines," offering detailed strategies to tackle vulnerabilities and proactively manage risks.

Adding to the discourse, Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, delved into frameworks for bolstering resilience and shared practical methodologies for addressing cyber challenges. His emphasis on institutional readiness and strategic cybersecurity planning provided participants with actionable takeaways to improve their defense mechanisms.

The โ€œCyberSecureGovโ€ initiative remains a vital forum for promoting collaboration, sharing best practices, and advancing cybersecurity expertise in the government organizations. National CERT reaffirms its commitment to strengthening Pakistanโ€™s digital resilience, with more sessions planned to broaden the initiative's reach and impact.
