𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗕𝗔-𝗖𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝟰.𝟬

𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan conducted an engaging and insightful Cyber Security Awareness Session for students enrolled in the Summer School 4.0 at IBA’s Center for Information & Communication Technology (IBA-CICT). The session was led by Mr. Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Training, National CERT, and focused on promoting cyber hygiene, raising awareness about cyberbullying and harassment, and imparting essential best practices for online safety.

In addition to key topics such as Wi-Fi security and strong password management, the session also covered social media safety, recognizing phishing and online scams, digital footprint awareness, and the importance of reporting cyber incidents. Through interactive discussions and real-world examples, students gained a deeper understanding of responsible digital behavior and how to navigate the internet securely and ethically. Their enthusiastic participation and thoughtful questions reflected a genuine interest in becoming cyber-aware citizens.

National CERT remains committed to building a cyber-resilient society through education and outreach. Initiatives like these are key to empowering the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the digital world securely and responsibly.
