𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗖𝗖𝗦 𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 (𝗣𝗖𝗖) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team of Pakistan (National CERT), in collaboration with the National Center for Cyber Security Pakistan (NCCS), successfully organized the Pakistan Cyber Security Challenge (PCC) 2024 at Air University, Islamabad. This premier event showcased Pakistan's commitment to fostering a cyber-resilient future by cultivating top-tier cybersecurity talent and raising awareness about critical challenges in the digital domain. The event brought together over 1,600 participants from more than 110 educational institutions nationwide, fostering a vibrant platform for innovation, skill-building, and awareness in the critical domain of cybersecurity.

PCC 2024 featured four key competitions designed to challenge and elevate participants’ technical expertise: Capture-the-Flag, The Showdown Event, Pak-Crypt Challenge, and the Cybersecurity Startup Ideas Cup. These diverse challenges tested participants’ abilities in practical problem-solving, cryptographic analysis, and innovative thinking, while encouraging teamwork and a competitive spirit. The National CERT team actively engaged with participants across various competitions, offering hands-on guidance and practical insights.

The event attracted widespread participation from academia, industry leaders, and government representatives, reflecting the growing recognition of cybersecurity as a national priority. PCC 2024 was commended for its focus on identifying and nurturing Pakistan’s top talent in cybersecurity, a critical step toward building a resilient and cyber-secure future.

National CERT reaffirmed its commitment to fostering expertise and promoting cybersecurity awareness through initiatives like PCC 2024. The event has become an annual hallmark for the cybersecurity community, bridging the gap between education and industry while inspiring the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. This collaboration has been instrumental in advancing the shared mission of building a more secure and resilient cyber landscape for Pakistan.
