๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team of Pakistan (National CERT), in collaboration with the National Center for Cyber Security Pakistan (NCCS), successfully organized the Pakistan Cyber Security Challenge (PCC) 2024 at Air University, Islamabad. This premier event showcased Pakistan's commitment to fostering a cyber-resilient future by cultivating top-tier cybersecurity talent and raising awareness about critical challenges in the digital domain. The event brought together over 1,600 participants from more than 110 educational institutions nationwide, fostering a vibrant platform for innovation, skill-building, and awareness in the critical domain of cybersecurity.
PCC 2024 featured four key competitions designed to challenge and elevate participantsโ technical expertise: Capture-the-Flag, The Showdown Event, Pak-Crypt Challenge, and the Cybersecurity Startup Ideas Cup. These diverse challenges tested participantsโ abilities in practical problem-solving, cryptographic analysis, and innovative thinking, while encouraging teamwork and a competitive spirit. The National CERT team actively engaged with participants across various competitions, offering hands-on guidance and practical insights.
The event attracted widespread participation from academia, industry leaders, and government representatives, reflecting the growing recognition of cybersecurity as a national priority.
