The MoU was formally signed by Dr. Haider Abbas, Director General National CERT, and Mr. Ashraf Koheil, Vice President META & ANZ at Group-IB, marking a major milestone in Pakistanโs journey toward enhanced national cyber preparedness and resilience.
This partnership brings together the collective strengths of a leading national cybersecurity authority and a globally recognized threat intelligence and cybersecurity solutions provider. Through this collaboration, National CERT and Group-IB will work closely to advance national cyber incident response, deploy robust digital fraud prevention mechanisms, and expand visibility into sophisticated and emerging cyber threats targeting critical infrastructure across Pakistan.
Furthermore, the MoU establishes a framework for joint research and development, collaborative cybercrime investigations, threat attribution initiatives, and specialized capacity-building programs.
