Islamabad, 14th May 2024 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (NCERT) successfully conducted a comprehensive capacity building training session at the Air University Auditorium in Islamabad. This pivotal event, organized by National CERT and co-hosted by the National Centre for Cyber Security (NCCS) at Air University, aimed to bolster the cybersecurity proficiency of professionals and employees from all Ministries, Divisions, and attached Federal Government Departments.
Mr. Khurram Javed, the Director of Capacity Building at National CERT, spearheaded the training, providing an in-depth exploration of cybersecurity principles and practices. The session covered a wide array of topics, designed to enhance the understanding and preparedness of attendees in the face of evolving cyber threats.
The event drew a diverse audience, primarily comprising professionals and employees from various Ministries and Federal Government departments, along with representation from Academia, Cybersecurity Researchers and Enthusiasts. This inclusivity ensured a broad dissemination of critical cybersecurity knowledge across multiple levels of Government and the wider community.
The training session underscored National CERT’s commitment to foster a secure digital environment through continuous education and collaboration.
