๐๐๐ฌ๐๐ก๐ฅ๐๐ฃ๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ โ The National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT) recently concluded the day 1 of a highly successful training session focused on Audit & Compliance at the prestigious Nawaz Shaheed Auditorium, Military College of Signals, Rawalpindi.
The session, held on May 15th, 2024, saw enthusiastic participation from professionals, employees, incumbents representing various Government Ministries, Divisions & Attached Departments, alongside students from different universities, academia, and cyber security enthusiasts.
Dr. Haider Abbas (TI), Director General of NCERT, spearheaded the session, delivering a comprehensive discourse on Audit & Compliance within the broader context of Cybersecurity and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC). Dr. Abbas illuminated every facet of auditing and compliance, providing invaluable insights into bolstering the cyber resilience of organizational frameworks.
A key highlight of the session was Dr. Abbasโs advocacy for a symbiotic association between governmental bodies and academia. He proposed a groundbreaking initiative where government departments and organizations could engage groups of university students in conducting thorough audits of their digital infrastructure.
