๐๐ด๐ญ๐ข๐ฎ๐ข๐ฃ๐ข๐ฅ, ๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ช๐ด๐ต๐ข๐ฏ โ National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) and the Center of Pakistan and International Relations (COPAIR) have entered into a partnership aimed at strengthening Pakistan's cybersecurity framework. The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place at the National CERT Headquarters, L-Block, Pak Secretariat, Islamabad, where DG National CERT, Dr. Haider Abbas, and President COPAIR, Dr. Amna Munawwar Awan, formally signed the agreement.
This collaboration focuses on addressing evolving cyber threats by leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Quantum Computing in cyber intelligence. Both organizations are committed to enhancing their cyber threat detection and response capabilities, ensuring a more secure digital environment.
Key initiatives include training Cyber Security Scouts in Digital Media Literacy to equip the next generation with essential cybersecurity skills and creating joint publications to promote cyber awareness across all levels. The partnership will also produce educational resources tailored for children and youth, emphasizing the importance of cybersecurity from an early age. Additionally, a Dialogue Forum will be established to facilitate ongoing discussions on cyber security policies, emerging threats, and regulatory frameworks.
