๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan conducted an awareness session at the Islamic Research Institute, International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI). The session was led by Mr. Khwaja Mansoor, Information Security Auditor, National CERT and brought together postdoctoral fellows and research scholars.
The session highlighted critical aspects of digital safety, including best practices for safeguarding personal and institutional data, identifying and mitigating cyber threats such as phishing attacks, and understanding the ethical and responsible use of social media platforms. Participants also gained insights into the legal and policy frameworks governing cyber activities in Pakistan, reinforcing the importance of compliance and accountability in the digital domain.
Through real-life case studies and practical examples, Mr. Khwaja Mansoor emphasized the growing relevance of cybersecurity across academic and professional settings. He encouraged the adoption of proactive strategies to enhance digital resilience and mitigate risks. The highly engaging Q&A session further allowed attendees to raise pertinent concerns and seek expert guidance.
