The session was led by Mr. Khurram Javed, Director Capacity Building, National CERT, who delivered an insightful and interactive presentation focusing on digital hygiene and responsible online behavior. Students were guided on the importance of safeguarding their personal information, recognizing and responding to potential cyber threats, and adopting safe practices while using the internet and social media platforms.

A key highlight of the session was a comprehensive discussion on cyberbullying and online harassment, equipping students with strategies to identify harmful behavior online, respond responsibly, and seek support when needed. Mr. Javed emphasized that digital spaces should be empowering, safe, and inclusive, and every child has a role to play in ensuring their own security and well-being.

The session was highly interactive, with students demonstrating great enthusiasm and curiosity. They actively participated by sharing their experiences, asking thought-provoking questions, and seeking clarification on how to deal with real-life online challenges. Their engagement reflected the critical importance of such awareness programs in helping children navigate the digital world with confidence and caution.

Through the Cyber Care for Children (CCC) Program, National CERT is committed to providing middle and high school students, educators, and parents with the knowledge and skills required to build a safe, secure, and resilient digital environment. More sessions are planned across schools and colleges nationwide as part of National CERTโ€™s broader Cybersecurity Capacity Building Program, aiming to empower the youth to counter emerging cybersecurity challenges effectively.
