๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) successfully conducted a five-day Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) Training program, aimed at enhancing the technical expertise and forensic investigation skills of government personnel and strategic partners. The initiative is part of National CERTโs ongoing efforts to build national cyber resilience through capacity development and specialized training in line with its Comprehensive Training Guidelines.
The training brought together participants from key national entities, including the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of IT & Telecom (MoITT), Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), Anti-Narcotics Force, NADRA, PTA, NTC, NITB, NTISB, Department of Security Communications (DCS), Ignite-NTF and Controller General of Accounts (CGA). Personnel from National CERT also took part for skill enhancement, reinforcing the collaborative approach to strengthening inter-agency preparedness against sophisticated cyber threats.
Through this hands-on training, participants acquired essential knowledge and practical skills in digital forensics, evidence handling, and cybercrime investigation methodologies. The program was designed to empower stakeholders to effectively respond to and mitigate cyber incidents while ensuring adherence to international best practices in forensic investigations.
