The culmination of the programme was marked by a certificate distribution ceremony attended by senior officials and participants of the internship programme. DG National CERT, Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, distributed certificates of completion among the interns and addressed the graduating intern cohort.

Over the course of eight weeks, the interns received structured training, practical exposure and mentorship across multiple domains of cybersecurity and related disciplines. These included cyber defense, threat intelligence, digital forensics, incident response, security operations, vulnerability assessment & pen-testing, DevSecOps, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), training & development, and cybersecurity capacity building.

Speaking on the occasion, DG National CERT, Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, emphasized the importance of developing a skilled, capable and future-ready cybersecurity workforce to safeguard Pakistanโ€™s rapidly expanding digital ecosystem. He also appreciated the commitment and enthusiasm demonstrated by the interns throughout the eight-week programme, encouraging them to carry forward the knowledge and experience gained during their internship and contribute positively to Pakistanโ€™s digital future.
