𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲 & 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan, in collaboration with its international technology Partner, Group-IB, conducted an interactive training session for the participants of its Summer Internship Program 2026, strengthening their exposure to industry perspectives and real-world cybersecurity practices.

Led by Mr. Igor Stolyarov, Business Development Director, Digital Risk Protection, MEA, Group-IB, the session focused on “Incident Response & Digital Forensics: Investigating & Recovering from Cyber Incidents” and was delivered by Mr. mohamed hamdi, Unified Cybersecurity Services Manager, Group-IB. The session provided interns with valuable insights into contemporary approaches to identifying, investigating, responding to, and recovering from cyber incidents.

The engagement reflects National CERT’s commitment to bridging young cybersecurity talent with industry, enabling interns to learn directly from experienced practitioners and gain a deeper understanding of professional cybersecurity environments. The interns participated with keen interest and actively engaged with the trainer throughout the session, demonstrating their enthusiasm to strengthen their technical knowledge and practical understanding of incident response and digital forensics.

Through its Internship Program, National CERT continues to foster meaningful connections between emerging cyber professionals and the industry, contributing to the development of a skilled and future-ready cybersecurity workforce in Pakistan. National CERT also extends its sincere appreciation to Group IB for its valuable efforts in organizing and facilitating this engaging session.
