๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan, in collaboration with its international technology Partner, Group-IB, conducted an interactive training session for the participants of its Summer Internship Program 2026, strengthening their exposure to industry perspectives and real-world cybersecurity practices.
Led by Mr. Igor Stolyarov, Business Development Director, Digital Risk Protection, MEA, Group-IB, the session focused on โIncident Response & Digital Forensics: Investigating & Recovering from Cyber Incidentsโ and was delivered by Mr. mohamed hamdi, Unified Cybersecurity Services Manager, Group-IB. The session provided interns with valuable insights into contemporary approaches to identifying, investigating, responding to, and recovering from cyber incidents.
The engagement reflects National CERTโs commitment to bridging young cybersecurity talent with industry, enabling interns to learn directly from experienced practitioners and gain a deeper understanding of professional cybersecurity environments. The interns participated with keen interest and actively engaged with the trainer throughout the session, demonstrating their enthusiasm to strengthen their technical knowledge and practical understanding of incident response and digital forensics.
Through its Internship Program, National CERT continues to foster meaningful connections between emerging cyber professionals and the industry, contributing to the development of a skilled and future-ready cybersecurity workforce in Pakistan.
