𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗛𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆

𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 — The Digital Pakistan Cybersecurity Hackathon 2024 has officially culminated in a grand and prestigious awards ceremony graced by the honorable Minister of State for Information Technology and Telecommunication. The event brought together passionate cybersecurity enthusiasts, professionals and students from all across Pakistan. This remarkable initiative, a joint venture of Ignite - National Technology Fund, Ministry Of IT & Telecom (MoITT), and National CERT, created an unparalleled platform for participants to showcase their skills in cybersecurity. The hackathon featured a highly competitive Capture the Flag (CTF) competition and Blue Teaming exercises that tested the expertise of participants in solving complex computer security problems and defending critical digital infrastructure.

The Awards Ceremony held in Islamabad celebrated not only the winners but also highlighted the broader impacts of the hackathon, including nurturing a vibrant cybersecurity community by fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and collective efforts to address pressing cybersecurity challenges. In recognition of their invaluable collaboration and contribution, Director General National CERT, Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, and Director Capacity Building, Mr. Khurram Javed were presented with special awards acknowledging National CERT’s commitment towards the success of this national event.
