๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National CERT, in partnership with the National Telecommunication and Information Security Board (NTISB), successfully conducted a high-impact seminar on the Essential Cybersecurity Governance and Implementation Aspects of the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP), a World Bank-funded initiative.
The seminar brought together key stakeholders, including representatives from Ignite - National Technology Fund, National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), Board of Investment (BOI), Ministry Of IT & Telecom(MoITT), National Information Technology Board -NITB, and the Ministry of Defence, along with the Project Management Unit of DEEP.
DG National CERT, Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, introduced National CERT to the audience, setting the stage for an insightful discussion. Dr. Mehreen Afzal. Mehreen led the discussion on cybersecurity governance and implementation frameworks essential for the success of DEEP. Discussions focused on fostering a resilient digital ecosystem, aligning national cybersecurity strategies with global best practices, and ensuring the security of digital initiatives under the DEEP framework. The engagement of all stakeholders underscored a collective commitment to securing Pakistanโs digital transformation efforts and strengthening its cyber resilience.
