𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗰 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗔𝗗𝗥𝗔 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗧𝗟 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺

𝙄𝙨𝙡𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙙, 𝙋𝙖𝙠𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣 – The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT), the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), and NADRA Technologies Limited (NTL) have officially entered into a strategic partnership, marking a significant step towards enhancing the cybersecurity landscape of Pakistan. The Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed in a ceremony held at NADRA Headquarters, Islamabad with the esteemed presence of Chairman NADRA. The MoUs were signed by Dr. Haider Abbas, Director General of National CERT, Dr. Monis Akhlaq, Chief Information Security Officer of NADRA, and Dr. Javed Ashraf, Chief Executive Officer of NTL. This partnership underscores the commitment of all three organizations to creating a safer and more secure digital environment for all Pakistanis.

This partnership is poised to fortify Pakistan’s defense against the growing tide of cyber threats by facilitating an integrated approach to cybersecurity. The MoUs outline a comprehensive framework for collaboration, focusing on the exchange of critical cybersecurity threat intelligence, secure and timely information sharing on threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents, and the orchestration of coordinated responses to cybersecurity incidents impacting national infrastructure.

The collaboration also extends to conducting joint investigations and analysis of cybersecurity incidents, sharing best practices, and developing methodologies to ensure effective cybersecurity management. Moreover, the partnership will spearhead research and development initiatives aimed at advancing cybersecurity technologies and strategies in Pakistan.

Furthermore, the National CERT, NADRA, and NTL will conduct joint training sessions across various cybersecurity domains and collaborate on educational programs designed to enhance public awareness and understanding of cybersecurity in Pakistan.
