๐๐จ๐ก๐๐ข๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ฉ๐๐ฃ โ In a significant stride towards bolstering cybersecurity resilience, the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (nCERT) actively participated in a series of impactful workshops on "๐๐ฏ๐ค๐ช๐ฅ๐ฆ๐ฏ๐ต ๐๐ฆ๐ด๐ฑ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด๐ฆ ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐๐๐๐" organized by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) in collaboration with APNIC. Held over three days in Lahore and Islamabad, these workshops brought together cybersecurity experts from across the region to share knowledge and expertise.
Our team, alongside cybersecurity specialists from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), various telecom operators, and ISPs, delved into both theoretical and practical aspects of CERT operations. Led by Mr. Adli Wahid, a Senior Internet Security Specialist from APNIC Australia, the sessions provided comprehensive hands-on training in forensic analysis and incident management. This initiative ensured that participants were well-equipped to handle and mitigate security incidents effectively, thereby strengthening the overall cybersecurity framework in Pakistan.
The training concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, marking the culmination of a fruitful and insightful series of workshops. National CERT extends its gratitude to APNIC and PTA for their invaluable contribution to organize the workshops and to all participants who accorded to the dynamic exchange of knowledge. Together, we are committed to enhancing the cybersecurity posture of Pakistanโs Internet and cybersecurity community.
