𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗮 𝗖𝘆𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀

𝗥𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶, 𝗣𝗮𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 — At the invitation of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI), the National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan conducted a comprehensive Cyber Security Awareness Session aimed at enhancing digital resilience within the business community. The session, hosted and presided by Mr. Usman Shaukat, President RCCI, was preceded by a highly interactive and insightful discussion between Mr. Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Trainings at National CERT, and the participants. The business community engaged actively on key topics including cybersecurity hygiene, best practices, and policy frameworks for businesses.

Mr. Syed Imran Haider led the awareness session by highlighting the growing landscape of cyber threats and the critical need for robust cyber hygiene practices among enterprises. Distinguished leadership from RCCI were present at the session, including Mr. Sohail Altaf, Group Leader and Former President; Mr. M. Khalid Farooq Qazi, Senior Vice President; and Mr. Fahad Barlas, Vice President. The session was well-attended by former presidents of RCCI as well as a broad representation from Rawalpindi's business sector. Participants engaged actively in the discussion, reflecting the increasing awareness and concern regarding cybersecurity challenges faced by businesses today.

In closing, Mr. Usman Shaukat presented a token of thanks to Mr. Syed Imran Haider in recognition of National CERT’s ongoing efforts to promote cyber awareness and strengthen institutional preparedness. This awareness session is one of the essential components of the National CERT’s Capacity Building Program and is aligned with the National CERT’s Cybersecurity Training Guidelines. The National CERT remains committed to empowering Pakistan’s public and private sectors through strategic training and collaborative engagement.
