𝗞𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶, 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 – At the International Information Security Conference (Infosec 2024), Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General of the National CERT, was invited as a guest of honor to speak on " 𝘗𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯'𝘴 𝘊𝘺𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘐𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴: 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘍𝘶𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘦 𝘙𝘰𝘢𝘥𝘮𝘢𝘱." The conference brought together senior executives from diverse sectors—including finance, telecommunications, armed forces, intelligence agencies, government ministries, foreign missions, utilities, and major manufacturing concerns—who engaged with a distinguished lineup of speakers sharing insights from Pakistan's fastest-growing companies.

Dr. Haider Abbas highlighted the significant strides Pakistan has made in strengthening its cybersecurity infrastructure. He emphasized the critical importance of collaborative efforts between the public and private sectors to ensure a resilient and secure cyberspace. The session underscored the need for robust cyber defense mechanisms and proactive measures to counter emerging threats. Dr. Abbas also stressed the importance of fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and education to empower individuals and organizations in safeguarding their digital assets.
