The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan, successfully conducted a specialized training session on Malware Analysis for its officials and technical resource persons at its headquarters. The initiative aimed to enhance institutional readiness, strengthen professional competencies, and reinforce operational resilience against evolving and sophisticated cyber threats.
The training was delivered under a Whole of Organization (WoO) Approach, bringing together participants from both technical and operational tiers of National CERT. This integrated learning model was designed to foster cross-functional expertise and improve collective response capabilities in addressing modern cybersecurity challenges.
The session was conducted by Mr. Mustafeez Ahmed, National CERTโs Distinguished Trainer under its Distinguished Trainers Program (DTP). The training encompassed the study of malicious software behavior along with practical exploration of real-world security breach scenarios. It focused on identifying, analyzing, and mitigating malware threats while strengthening understanding of attack techniques and response practices. Participants actively engaged throughout the training, demonstrating strong interest and commitment to advancing their technical capabilities.
Such capacity-building initiatives underscore National CERTโs dedication to continuous learning, professional excellence, and proactive defense contributing toward a secure, resilient, and future-ready digital Pakistan.
