The programme comprised two days of hands-on cybersecurity training followed by a one-day cyber drill, bringing together officials from federal ministries, divisions, and attached departments to strengthen institutional cybersecurity awareness and capacity.

Designed in accordance with the National CERT Training Guidelines, the programme focused on enhancing participantsโ€™ understanding of contemporary cybersecurity threats, institutional cyber resilience, secure digital practices, and effective approaches to safeguarding government information systems and digital assets. The training adopted a highly interactive and practical approach, encouraging active participation, knowledge exchange, and discussion around emerging cybersecurity challenges faced by public-sector organisations. The sessions provided participants with relevant insights and actionable knowledge to contribute towards a more secure and resilient digital government ecosystem.

The concluding ceremony was graced by Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General, National CERT, who addressed the participants and highlighted the importance of continuous capacity building in strengthening Pakistanโ€™s national cyber resilience. He also presented certificates of participation, acknowledging the participantsโ€™ commitment to enhancing their cybersecurity knowledge and capabilities.

National CERT reaffirms its commitment to strengthening cybersecurity capacity across Pakistanโ€™s public sector through continuous training, knowledge sharing, and institutional capacity building, contributing towards a secure, resilient, and trusted digital ecosystem.
