𝗗𝗼𝗵𝗮, 𝗤𝗮𝘁𝗮𝗿 – Dr. Haider Abbas, TI, Director General of the National CERT, participated as a distinguished panelist at the launch event of Qatar's National Cyber Incident Framework, hosted by the National Cybersecurity Agency (NCSA), Qatar. The high-level panel discussion, titled "𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘊𝘚𝘌𝘙𝘛/𝘊𝘌𝘙𝘛 𝘪𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘕𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘺𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘐𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵," brought together cybersecurity leaders from Oman, Pakistan, NCSA, QCB, and FIRST.

Dr. Abbas, leveraging his extensive expertise in cybersecurity and incident response, highlighted the evolving role of sectoral CERTs and corporate CSIRTs in strengthening national cyber resilience. He emphasized the critical need for seamless coordination between national and sectoral CERTs to enhance real-time threat intelligence sharing, rapid incident mitigation, and a unified defense strategy against emerging cyber threats.

Underscoring Pakistan’s commitment to global cybersecurity collaboration, Dr. Abbas shared insights on structured engagement with international cybersecurity frameworks, industry stakeholders, and national incident response teams.

The event, which marked the official launch of Qatar's National Cyber Incident Framework, also served as a platform for cybersecurity leaders to exchange knowledge and best practices in national cyber incident response, reinforcing the importance of cross-border cooperation in securing cyberspace. Dr. Abbas’s participation reaffirmed the National CERT’s dedication to international collaboration and resilience-building efforts in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape.
