Dr. Abbas, leveraging his extensive expertise in cybersecurity and incident response, highlighted the evolving role of sectoral CERTs and corporate CSIRTs in strengthening national cyber resilience. He emphasized the critical need for seamless coordination between national and sectoral CERTs to enhance real-time threat intelligence sharing, rapid incident mitigation, and a unified defense strategy against emerging cyber threats.
Underscoring Pakistanโs commitment to global cybersecurity collaboration, Dr. Abbas shared insights on structured engagement with international cybersecurity frameworks, industry stakeholders, and national incident response teams.
The event, which marked the official launch of Qatar's National Cyber Incident Framework, also served as a platform for cybersecurity leaders to exchange knowledge and best practices in national cyber incident response, reinforcing the importance of cross-border cooperation in securing cyberspace.
