๐๐๐น๐ฎ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฑ, ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ธ๐ถ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป โ The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (National CERT) of Pakistan successfully conducted a comprehensive 2-day specialized cybersecurity workshop on the theme โEmerging Cyber Threats and Digital Assets Protection Measures" for the personnel of the Prime Ministerโs Office.
This extended workshop was designed to raise awareness and enhance cybersecurity readiness by educating the PMO staff about prevailing cyber threats, best practices, and effective strategies to safeguard digital assets in the governmentโs digital ecosystem with a strong emphasis on the safe and secure use of the digital workspace.
Structured across two days, tailored sessions were delivered to various tiers of staff, including Secretaries and Executives, Officers & IT Managers, and ministerial staff. The workshop offered in-depth, practical insights into recognizing and mitigating cyber threats and ensuring the safe operation of digital workspace to minimize the risk of digital compromise.
The sessions were led by Dr. Haider Abbas, Director General National CERT, TI, and Mr. Syed Imran Haider, Assistant Director Trainings. Their expert guidance equipped attendees with actionable knowledge and a heightened sense of responsibility in maintaining cyber hygiene within their respective roles. National CERT remains committed to building a resilient cyber defense infrastructure across public sector institutions through continued awareness, capacity building, and proactive engagement.
